Near the end of the TF1 motorway and between the tourist centres of Playa de San Juan and Playa de las Américas is the charming little Canarian fishing village of El Puertito.

A cave dwelling is built into the rock and the small white houses of the village are clustered around a small black sand beach.

directly on the coast near the harbour there are some small fish-restaurants, which offer real good seafood and fresh grilled fish.
