Los Abrigos, Tenerife
Famous for its night market
Los Abrigos may only be a small fishing village but it can lay claim to being the only place on the island to hold a night market.
The market takes place on Tuesday evenings between 6-10pm.
The village, as one might expect, is home to a number of small restaurants who specialise in the fruits of the sea.
Los Abrigos also has a fine promenade and small harbour.
The village’s annual fiesta in September is a colourful occasion, when
the fishing boats are decked out with bright lights for the carnival parade.
The fiesta has a reputation for staging one of the most spectacular fireworks
displays on the island – and anyone who knows Tenerife will understand
how stiff the competition is!
Windsurfing and diving are among the items on offer for the more active visitor.

Night market
The first and only night market on Tenerife, each Tuesday between 6-10pm selling everything from local produce, including freshly caught fish, to clothing.
Golf
The courses of Golf del Sur and Amarila Golf are both nearby.
