Tenerife Dogs
Tenerife Dogs is a website dedicated to helping Tenerife’s hard working dog rescue shelters and is a mine of useful information about all things doggie on the island and world-wide. The site was set up by Nikki Attree, a digital artist, and her pooch Basil – who explains the idea:
“Not all dogs land on their paws like me, and some even find themselves roaming the streets – for them it’s ‘dog eat dog’ ! … so Nikki set up this website to support all the kind humans who help those poor abandoned pooches find a new home.” On the site you’ll find all the latest news from Tenerife’s rescue centres:
Live Arico, Dingo Dogs and K9 … as well as contributions from local vet Miquel Los Santo (who runs the ‘Animal Centre Sur’ in El Medano), and Sharon Haslam – a dog trainer and commitee member of K9 … along with plenty of wooftastic and plain barking mad stories.
It has to be a ‘must read and bookmark‘ for all Tenerife’s doggie people.
