Isle of Tenerife

Why Tenerife

A tourist destination for any season or month of the year, Tenerife is an extremely popular paradise island destination, especially for British and German travellers. Every year, thousands of visitors throng to this charming place, drawn not only by its spectacular natural beauty but also by the thriving nightlife. Apart from being renowned for the best bitters on tap, Tenerife also promises a variety of scenery ranging from lush tropical forests to amazingly beautiful beaches.

Tenerife became a worldwide destination for holidaymakers after the years of the air travel boom. It is easily accessible from most European cities and travel agencies offer excellent deals incorporating travel and superb resorts. There is so much to see in Tenerife and the visitor can spend days admiring natural wonders, such as Pico Del Teide – Spain’s highest peak, or hiking at the Parque Rural De Anaga; or driving around the long mountainous roads with spectacular scenery as the backdrop. The exotic beaches of Tenerife, such as the Jardin Beach near Puerto De La Cruz; the Teresitas Beach, which was refurbished in 1973 and the Martianez Pond, a striking example of coastal transformation are also among the main attractions of Tenerife.

Whether the visitors love to go for long walks through wooded trails or just want to laze around the beach, or whether they would like to climb the mountains in this lovely island, there is something for everyone here. The nightlife here is active and vibrant, with innumerable bars and restaurants and cuisines from all over the world.

The Tenerife Carnival is full of raw abandonment and gaiety. It rivals the Rio carnival in the joy and festive spirit it personifies. The temperatures remain spring like all through the year, and this combined with the abundant sunshine make it a popular destination throughout the year. The local residents love entertaining and taking care of their visitors, and this is evident in their welcoming smiles and joyous laughter.
